Budget of €4,000
Hi, I’m 18 years old and I’m looking to purchase a car with a budget of €4000 for the car itself, I want something quite quick and peppy but also with cheap tax and the most affordable insurance. High mileage doesn’t really bother me once the car is in good over all physical condition and runs well. Thanks and I hope you can help me in any way.

Hmm, tricky to balance the peppy performance bit with keeping insurance costs down, especially considering your age. You're likely to be quoted very high premiums if you decide on any car with more than 1.0-1.2-litre engine capacity. Use the Carzone.ie search filters with those limitations and the pickings are slim in terms of performance. A Suzuki Swift perhaps?
