Tough call. Very different cars – the 5 Series is bigger and comfier, the C-Class sportier and more compact. I guess with their prices being so similar, and assuming that they’re similar in terms of condition and history, you should go with whichever one you prefer on a personal level, but my temptation would be to go with the 5 Series – it is a really terrific car.
