Bet or chain in the Yeti 1.4?
Would anyone know if the skoda yeti 1.4 tsi cambelt is a chain or belt. Thanks

Hi Alistair,
It depends on the model year. The 1.4 TSI engine in the first-generation Yeti used a chain, and that was carried over to the second-generation model until 2015. From then on the engine changed and it used a timing belt. The chain engines put out 122hp, while the belt units were either 150hp or 125hp.
