There’s only one rule if you’re looking for the ultimate in reliability, and that’s to buy Japanese, Korean, or Czech. In roughly descending order of reliability, I’d say the best brands to be shopping for are Honda, Lexus, Toyota, Suzuki, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Skoda, Hyundai, and Kia.
