What’s the best suv,s for a family of 5? We have 3 baby seats and need a good boot size, I’ve a 152 Ford Focus Zetec TDCI to trade in.
Hi Paul,
Have a look at our guide to child car seats, which lists all the cars that can take three child seats on the second row. Some of these are five-seat machines, while most are seven-seat vehicles; these latter cars will have huge boots if you fold the two rear-most chairs away, but of course they’re physically bigger so they’re more expensive and harder to park/navigate down narrow routes. However, most of these are MPVs; the only SUV that we know of that has three ISOFIX mountings across row two is the Audi Q7 Mk2, and that’s expensive. If you're not using ISOFIX for all three baby seats then you have more options, but even so it's a challenge to find an affordable SUV with room for three baby seats in the middle row.
The market price for your Focus is anything between €13,000 and €16,000, so expect to be offered €9,500-€12,000 for a trade-in.
