We think that both the 500 and MINI Cooper are cool cars, but you may be limited by the insurance cost. The larger engine of the MINI is likely to mean a very high insurance premium. There are better city cars out there than the Fiat, such as the Hyundai i10 and, depending on budget, the Volkswagen up, but it sounds to us that you're swayed by the style of the 500.
