Best car for a new driver?
What would be the best car make for a new driver? I'm looking for something that's reliable and not that expensive

Well, you need to stick to around a 1.0-litre engine as that’s the best for insurance purposes for a new driver. Volkswagen’s Up (or the Skoda Citigo or SEAT Mii) would be ideal, as would an old-shape Nissan Micra, or a more recent Suzuki Alto or Nissan Pixo.
