It depends on how big the horse box is, and how heavy it is, but generally speaking the new Skoda Kodiaq takes some beating, as it can tow a big two-horse box without going over the maximum vehicle weight of 3,500kg (the most you can tow without needing a category BE driver's licence). Others well worth looking at are the Subaru Forester, Land Rover Freelander and Nissan X-Trail.
