Belt or chain on this Hyundai?
My daughter has a 5/2010 Hyundai i30 CDRi. I think it is a 1.6 lt Diesel Can you please advise if it has a timing chain or belt.

The 1.6 diesel uses a timing chain. The 2.0 diesel uses a timing belt.
