Belt or chain on a Yeti 1.2?
Does a Skoda yeti 1.2 tsi petrol have a timing chain or belt.

Hi David,
It depends on when precisely the car was made. The 1.2 engine in the first-gen Yeti used a chain, and that continued into the second-gen model, but in 2015 a new 1.2 engine was introduced and that one used a timing belt instead. The only way to know for sure - other than knowing what to look for in the engine bay - is to check the engine code.
