Belt or chain in this Mondeo?
Does a 161 Ford Mondeo 2L tdci have a timing belt or chain. If belt, is it inside the engine. And when does it need replacing

Hi Col,
That engine uses a timing belt at the front of the engine and a small timing chain within the engine joining the camshafts only. The belt must be changed at least every 200,000km or 10 years, whichever comes first.
