Belt or chain in this Beetle?
Does my VW Beetle Design Petrol 1.2 2015 model have a timing chain or belt?

Hi RG,
It depends on when exactly the engine was built, as the 2011-2015 1.2 TSI engine used a timing chain, but the 2015-2016 unit used a belt. The former's engine code is CBZB, the latter CYVD.
