Belt or chain in my Suzuki?
I have a 2014 reg Suzuki SCross with 50,000 miles on the clock will it have a timing belt or a chain & when would it need replacing?

Hi Laura,
The 1.6 petrol engine uses a chain, while the 1.6 diesel uses a timing belt. The latter must be replaced every 140,000km or five years, whichever comes first.
