Hello, I have a Skoda 3 from 2017, engine CZDA, 1.4, 150hp, that has 89.000 km. Do i have a chaind or belt distribution? When do i must change the distribution? Thank you
Hi Florin,
You didn't mention the model, so we'll assume it's the Octavia. The CZDA engine uses a timing belt. It should apparently be checked at 240,000km regardless of time and then every 30,000km thereafter until a mechanic reckons it should be changed. We'd suggest getting it checked and changed earlier than that.
