Belt or chain in my SEAT Ibiza?
I have a Seat ibiza FR 2019 1.0 TSI DSG. 115BHP. My question is: Does this model have a timing belt or chain? If it's a belt, at what service interval should it be replaced? Thank you.

Hi Michael,
That engine has a timing belt, but it's one of the Volkswagen Group's 'long-life' belts, which don't require any checking or changing until 300,000km, officially. We'd be inclined to have it checked more regularly than that by a good mechanic.
