Belt or chain in my Insignia petrol?
I have a 1600 turbo petrol insignia does it have timing chain or abelt thanks

Hi Stephen,
There were several different turbocharged 1.6-litre petrol engines offered in the Insignia over two generations of the car. The 2008-2013 179hp unit has a timing belt, but the 1.6 SIDI Turbo engine (170hp or 200hp) around the same time used a timing chain. In the Insignia B, the 1.6 turbo engine (200hp - 2018-2020) has a timing chain.
