It depends on the engine under the bonnet. The 1.1-litre petrol engine has a timing belt that should be changed at least every 135,000km of nine years, whichever comes first. The 1.0, 1.2 and 1.25 petrol and 1.1 diesel have timing chains instead, which don't have set replacement schedules.
