Belt or chain in my Astra 1.6?

I have the 2013 Opel Astra 1.6T Cosmo and I was wondering if it has a timing belt or chain.

Our answer:

Hi Gyanna,

There were two different 1.6-litre turbocharged petrol engines in that Astra. The SIDI one has a chain, the other a belt.
