Belt or chain in my 2016 Qashqai?
Does my Quashqai N-Connecta diesel March 2016 have a timing belt or chain, and what mileage doe it needs changed?

Hi Elizabeth,
It depends on which diesel engine it has.
The 1.5-litre version has a timing belt, which should be changed at least every 150,000km or five years - whichever comes first.
The 1.6-litre diesel has a timing chain though, which Nissan recommends replacing every 300,000km or ten years.
