Belt or chain in an A4 3.0 diesel?
Hi I am going to look at a 2011 Audi A4 Avant 3.0 diesel and wanted to know if that model has a timing belt or a chain. Thank you Darren

Hi Darren,
Unusually, that engine has a small timing belt for the fuel pump at the top of the engine as well as a timing chain for the rest of it.
