Belt or chain in a TDCi Focus?
2012 Focus 1.6 TDCI. Does it have a timing belt or chain? If it's a belt when should it be changed?

Hi Keith,
It does indeed use a belt, which must be changed at least every 180,000km or 10 years, whichever comes first. Note that, for cars manufactured before July 2011, the interval is 140,000km or 10 years.
