Belt or chain in a Renegade?
Hello, does the 2015 Renegade engine have a chain or a belt? Inside the engine, and if it breaks, will it cause problems in the engine or damage if it breaks?

In most cases, if a chain or timing belt breaks, internal engine damage should be expected.
You didn't specify which engine, as several were available in the 2015 Renegade.
Chain: 1.6 petrol
Belts: 1.4 MultiAir petrol, 1.6 diesel, 2.0 diesel
