Belt or chain in a Beetle?
Beetle 1.2TSI BlueMotion Tech Design, does it use a timing belt or chain?

Hi Daniel,
It depends on the year. From 2011 to 2015, the 1.2 TSI engine used a chain. It moved over to a timing belt design in 2016.
