Belt or chain in a 2017 Hyundai Tucson 1.6?
2017 Hyundai Tucson 1.6 diesel, has it a timing belt or chain and what inter val should it be changed plse.

Our information suggests the newer 1.6-litre diesel engine didn't go into production until 2018, and it was a 1.7-litre unit before that. The latter uses a timing chain. The newer 1.6-litre engine has a timing belt which should be changed at least every 240,000km, regardless of time.
