Belt or chain in a 2016 Mazda3?
Please tell whether mazda 3,2016, 1.5 diesel,cd105, contains chain or belt. If it has chain after which mileage it needs to be changed and what is the average cost of that and does the engine needs to go out? Is this a japanese engine or the french one?

That engine has a timing chain, but it does not have any set replacement schedule as it is theoretically designed for the life of the engine. The cost of replacement would be significant, but also would vary considerably from garage to garage so it's not appropriate for us to give a representative value.
