Belt or chain in a 2016 Audi A3?
Does a 161 Audi A3 with a 1.4 Tfsi engine have a timing belt or chain? Thanks

Hi Stephen,
There was a changeover in model in 2016 and lots of different-capacity TFSI petrol engines available in the A3 in 2016 before and after the change. Nonetheless, nearly all of the TFSI engines of that year having timing belts. The exceptions are the 1.8-litre and 2.0 units, which use chains instead.
