Belt or chain in a 2015 Trafic 1.6?
Hi Shane I have a Renault traffic 2015 1.6 litre Just wondering is it chain or belt driven A warning came on the dash with a power steering signal and a belt broke off at the side of the engine

Hi Patrick,
That engine has a timing chain. However, it would still use rubber belts on the outside for auxiliaries such as the power steering, and it sounds like that's all that has broken in your case. Shouldn't be a big deal to sort if that's all it is.
