Belt or chain in a 2003 Grand Vitara?
Purchasing a 2003 grand vitara 1600gv, with 68000 on the clock, wanted to check if this has a timing chain or a belt, and in either case. Will I need to change it? Thanks.

The 1.6-litre petrol engine in the Grand Vitara of that year uses a timing belt. It should be changed at least every 105,000km, regardless of time.
