Belt or chain in a 2003 Astra?
hi i was wondering does a opel astra g 2003 1.4 16v have a timing chain or timing belt thank you

That's a tricky one, as there were two 1.4-litre petrol engines in the Astra in 2003. One of them had a timing chain and the other a belt. The engine code for the one with a belt is Z14XE and the one with a chain is Z14XEP.
