Are these tax rates right?
Why are the newer commercial vans charged at the old tax rates if taxed as private? Are they not based on emissions?

It's a really strange one, isn't it? But yes, to confirm, even if a van is brand new, if it's registered for private use, it is taxed according to the old by-engine-size rates instead of its emissions.
