Both those cars come with wide-opening doors and more upright-than-normal seating positions that certainly would help with access and comfort. Their controls are light and easy to use, the dashboards are sensibly laid out and they're easy and smooth to drive.

If you think all that appeals to 'older' drivers, then job done.
