Are there scrappage deals about now?
We've got a 2000 SEAT Ibiza and we're thinking of trading up and don't know what scrappage deals if any are available to us.

Hi Peter,
There are no official government-backed scrimmage schemes at the moment, but a great many individual dealer groups and importers are offering some significant trade-in bonuses. Hyundai, for instance, is offering between €3,000 and €4,000 as a ‘scrappage’ trade-in, and Toyota is offering up to €3,000. Opel is offering up to €4,500 against certain new models, Nissan has one for up to €4,000 while Ford has a ‘Swappage’ offer that tops up your trade-in value by up to €1,500.
There are some other individual offers about, so have a shop around and see what you can squeeze out of a dealer.
