Almost, but not quite. There are no diesels available with less than 1.0-litre (well, not on anything sold in the Irish market in the last ten years anyway), but there are some small oil-burners around. Kia and Hyundai have a 1.1 CRDi diesel that you’ll find in the Rio and i20, while Volkswagen Group has a 1.2 three-cylinder diesel that has been fitted to various Polo, SEAT Ibiza and Skoda Fabia models. Finally, Fiat developed a 1.3-litre diesel many years ago, which was shared with Opel, and you can find that in the Panda and Punto, and the Corsa and Astra.
