Are electric cars cheaper to service?
ICE or Hybrid or Electric how does typical servicing costs compare. Looking now to change my two family cars next year. A friend of mine has a 2021 Tesla and he tells me it has never been serviced. I am weighing up between another ICE car or electric or Hybrid options. How does the typical costs of servicing compare between them.

Hi Paul,
In general, electric cars are far cheaper to service than any car with an internal combustion engine - servicing costs for hybrids and non-hybrids is very similar.
Electric cars don't have oil and oil filter, fuel filter, air filter, spark plugs etc. that need replacing regularly. They have much fewer moving parts. Not only that, but as most of them use the electric motor(s) to slow the car down, they tend not to wear brakes as quickly, either.
