Yes, they’re fine; the latest, second-generation 5008 SUV is a much nicer proposition than the old, traditional MPV built from 2009-2016, but don’t discount the first-gen model – it might not be a looker, but it’s very cleverly designed car and perfectly comfortable to drive. Both models come with a six-speed automatic and later EAT6 gearboxes on the 5008 are good, smooth transmissions.
