Any seven-seat used hybrids?
Hi guys - we're Dublin based, drive mainly at weekends although in winter we drop kids to school. Currently have a 2008 Avensis (Petrol, 1.6L) which is fine but we now need to have the option of fitting an extra two people in the car (on occasion). People carriers seem massive plus anything recent seems to be Diesel which is not an option. Is there anything on the market 2014+, Petrol/Hybrid, €15k-€23k (incl trade in) that has the option of popping up two seats in the boot when required? Cheers!

Hi Lara,
Thankfully, there is — the Prius+. It’s got a hybrid powertrain, so emissions are pretty saintly, and it has the necessary extra seats in the boot. Plus, being a Toyota, it’ll feel familiar and it’ll be endlessly reliable. One caveat — it has poor fuel consumption if you take it anywhere near a long motorway run, but with your driving profile, that shouldn’t be an issue.
