Any problems with the Skoda Octavia?
Any problems with the 1.2 petrol Skoda Octavia. Currently looking at one with 55,000k at €18,000, Elegance model. It has had two owners and wondering why previous owners changed so quickly considering low mileage

Hi Michael,
We certainly haven’t heard of any major issues with that model. They can suffer from blown turbos, as well as dodgy boot and door seals that let in water, and if it has the DSG gearbox it needs an oil change every 60,000km, but other than that (and these aren’t issues that affect all cars) if it comes with a full service history and a clean history check from Cartell.ie then it should be fine.
