Hi, are there any Mazda CX-5 petrol cars?
Hi Claire,
Yes, there are, but they’re very thin on the ground. Mazda doesn’t turbocharge its petrol engines, which means they’re torque-light and can frustrate some drivers, but we think they’re fine. Mazda did a 2.0-litre, 165hp petrol in the CX-5 and you can find used examples of this. Another way to spot them in classified ads is to look for SkyActiv-G, with the ‘G’ standing for gasoline (petrol). Diesel Mazdas are branded SkyActiv-D.
