Is there a downside to buying a petrol engine 7 seater nissan xtrail compared to Diesel engine?
Hi Ify,
The diesel X-Trail will certainly be more economical on longer journeys and on the open road - and it has more low-down torque, which is useful for towing. Petrol models still tend to be slightly cheaper than their equivalent diesels, although petrol (as a fuel) tends to be a little more per litre than diesel. In essence, unless you’re doing mega-miles per annum and lots of motorway/fast road work (to prevent the diesel’s particulate filter from clogging up), then go for the petrol X-Trail.
