Am I liable for tax arrears in a car I just bought?
Just bought a second hand car from dealership 26/02, tax out since end of January, am I liable for arrears?

Hi Sile,
No you're not - you are only responsible for motor tax from the day you take ownership. Just make sure the dealership completes the paperwork properly including the date you took ownership.
