Alfa Romeo MiTo or Citroen DS3?
Hi I was looking to buy a 2012 Alfa Romeo mito 1.4 8 valve engine 40,000 miles. Northern Ireland important had a oil leak in gear box said they will fix before I buy a get 6 month guarantee with the car simi dealer but ther in Dublin I am from Tipperary . Or a 2010 DS3 1.6vti 90,000 miles get 3 months guarantee with the car dealer( not simi) also in Dublin. Witch one would be the smarter buy. And the most reliable as I need it for work reliability is a must. And will be getting a loan and can't afford any problems. Please get back to me as fast as possible please

To be honest, both DS3 and MiTo would be pretty similar in reliability terms, which is to say not bad but not as good as their Japanese rivals. Personally, I’d go for the MiTo as you’re getting a longer warranty with it. Just make sue you do a proper background and history check on it first with Cartell.ie, and make sure it comes with a proper service history. Could be worth getting an aftermarket warranty for it too, once the one the dealer is offering you runs out.
