Advice on an imported VW warranty, please.
Hi, Id like to buy a used VW Golf. Ive seen an imported one from the UK but my mechanic advised against this as the daswelt auto warranty wont cover it here in Ireland if imported. have you any advise on this please?

The whole point of Volkswagen’s Das Welt warranty – which translates as ‘the world’ – is that it is valid in almost all countries across western Europe, Ireland and the UK included. If this car has a genuine Das Welt warranty, it should be valid here, so we’re not sure why you’re being advised otherwise.
