A VAT question...
A value added tax of 23% is charged on used vehicles purchased in Ireland, correct? Do prices for vehicles advertised on Carzone include that VAT, or is that over and above the listed price? Thank you!

Hi Peter,
The amount of VAT a trader pays is not as simple as that, but of more importance to you, advertised prices on Carzone almost always include VAT. The exception to this is if the vehicles are commercial vehicles. If in doubt, ask the seller.
