A problem with this BMW?
I recently went to view a car its a 520d 2011 m sport 2lt diesel. When the dip stick was opened a small bit and the car was revved oil spat out and smoke came out what would be the cause of that or is there a problem? Thanks

Hi Craig,
Engines are not supposed to run with the dipstick removed so I really don't think that what you've described is the symptom of a problem. I reckon most engines will spit oil out there if revved and the dipstick is removed.
