A few things with my Insignia.

my 151 opel insignia cdti 2.0L engine with 92500 klm is showing 46% lef on the dash board.t i put 2 x i litre of oil as per manual but the percentage has not changed. What is the reason for this? Also what price would my opel be if i sold it. it is full leather interior, parking front and rear sencors and has a full top spec?

Our answer:

Hi Pat,

There’s a little knack to resetting the oil level. Use the Menu button on the indicator stalk to get ‘Vehicle Information Menu’ showing on the instrument cluster. Select this and you should get Remaining Oil Life, plus your figure of 46%. Press the Set/Clear button on the end of the indicator stalk, use the rotating Up/Down arrows on the stalk to highlight ‘Yes’ to reset… THEN, put your foot on the brake pedal. With your foot on the brakes, press Set/Clear again and the reading should go to 100%; if you don’t have your foot on the brake, it won’t work. Hope this helps – and your car should be worth between €13,250 to €14,250.
