There are so many variables in the calculation of an insurance premium that we couldn't tell you how much difference it would make to have an Irish driving licence instead of an international driver's permit. The best thing to do is employ a good broker to help you with that - or spend time ringing insurance companies to get quotes and check with them if the type of permit changes the pricing.
