A couple of things on my Audi...

Hi Shane, I have a 2012 Audi A6 with 86k miles. When should I replace the timing belt? Also I know from the 2008 models on there has been issues with the clutch and flywheel, should I have them looked at too? My car sometimes when I take off is jerking which is from the clutch. What prices would I be looking at for these jobs to be carried out? Thanks.

Our answer:

Hi Dermot,

If it's a 2.0 TDI diesel then the timing belt needs to be done every 120,000km or every five years, whichever is sooner.

A juddering from the clutch could well be an issue with either that or the flywheel, but your best bet would be to contact your local Audi dealer to have the car inspected and get a quote for any repairs that are needed.
