Well, it could be worth looking at the current-shape Suzuki Vitara. On sale for just over a year now, it’s more compact and a lot more frugal than the older model, and there are some very good nearly-new deals around. Plus a Suzuki dealer is best placed to give you a good trade in for your old one.
