What to go for as second family car?
Hi. I am planning to change car in 2018. its the family 2nd car, I use it for commute to work. approx 450 miles driving a week. Family size in is 5. Looking to upgrade from a 2008. what kind of searches/choices should it start looking at ? Brand is NOT a big issue. I am looking at value and economical sense.

Would you consider a Skoda Octavia Combi? Not an SUV, I'll grant you, but it has a massive boot, a frugal 1.6 TDI diesel engine and there should be just enough space in the back for three kids, depending on how big they are and what car seats they're using.
A Kia Sportage is another good bet if you want something more 4x4-ish, or how about going for seven seats and getting a Volkswagen Touran or Ford S-Max?
