What's this box behind the mirror?
Do you know what the small plastic box is located on the inside of the wind shield, behind and on the right side of the rear view mirror?

You've not told us which car you are referring to, but many have a similar thing. It usually holds the rain sensor for automatic wipers and/or a camera for driver assistance safety technology.
